Black Seal License Course Thursday 5:00pm - 8:00pm Tuition $325 and administration fees $55This prepares a student for the Black Seal License examination including high and low-pressure boiler operations, starting from the very basics of boiler operator mechanics. Please note: this is a 6-week course that will address all aspects of Black Seal Operations. Requirements: To be eligible for the Black Seal License examination, the student /applicant must have at least three (3) months experience as a helper, apprentice, trainee, or assistant to a licensed Black Seal operator. Also, the student/applicant must be able to produce, upon request, a boiler room logbook with his/her identified name in the log book for licensure application.

Students will learn welding safety, oxygen-acetylene safety and cutting, SMAW (stick welding), introduction to MIG welding, and welding metallurgy. There will be time in the classroom to learn welding theory behind each subject. The students will have the option to take the American Welding Society (AWS) SENSE tests which consist of written tests and a welding test at the end of Intermediate. AWS SENSE is the welding industry's most comprehensive standard and program for entry-level welders. If successful in passing nine written tests and a destructive bend test at the end of intermediate, they will receive an Entry Level 1 Welder Certificate and wallet card from the American Welding Society.

Dental Radiology Course Tuesday 6:00pm - 9:00pm Tuition $800 and administration fees $55This course is designed to prepare working dental assistants or dental office employees for DANB’s Radiation and Safety Examination which has been recognized by the New Jersey Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners (Board) as its licensing examination. The x-ray course is open to those with prior knowledge of dentistry and they are responsible for seeking out an office to complete their clinical hours. Course content includes exposure and evaluation of radiographs, film processing and mounting, radiation protection and safety, nature and properties of x-rays, quality assurance and much more.
